About Us

Jon and Fiona St Andrews Lyme Regis

Your Hosts

Fiona and Jon acquired St Andrews House in 2017 and spent many months (and long days!) updating and renovating their beautiful home into a stylish and modern bed and breakfast. In 2021 work started on 3 new rooms -Anning, Hardy & Somers - which occupy the top floor. Each year the existing rooms have been updated with both Jurrasic & Stonebarrow earmarked for further refurbishment in the winter of 2022.

Prior to that they ran a successful cafe/restaurant in Lyme Regis on the seafront. After selling their restaurant in 2016, Jon returned to work to help The Taunton Cider Company recapture its former glory whilst Fiona is very 'hands on' with the B&B.

As your hosts, both Fiona and Jon would love to welcome you to their B&B where they will do everything to make you feel at home with the added advantage of knowing all the best places to visit, relax or just have fun.

Fiona

Fiona studied and graduated in catering and hospitality and has worked in many famous individual and group hotels from Trust House Forte to The Avon Gorge Hotel as well as running many other successful businesses of her own.

Fiona has lived and worked abroad and has also managed to find time to bring up her two children, Michael and Rebecca, who are now grown up and have forged careers as a teacher and paramedic.

Jon

Jon hails from South Wales and, as you would expect, is a keen rugby fan! He played rugby until his mid-forties and has represented several well-known rugby teams both at home, Australia and in New Zealand. After graduating from UCL in London, Jon has worked with some of the world’s best-known drink brands including Coca Cola and has more recently focused on the cider market in Somerset - in more ways than one!

Jon has two children, Joshua, who is a keen local rugby player and his accomplished artist and daughter, Amie.

Together they enjoy any downtime either caring for their grandchildren Eleri, Harry & Felicity, cultivating their extensive gardens or enjoying the many wonderful restaurants and hostelries in Lyme Regis. Oh and Golf…
