- Emma S.25 May 2025Just got back from an amazing two days at this fabulous bed and breakfast. Hosts are amazing, nothing too much trouble. The whole venue is stunning, immaculately clean, room we stayed in Was the Anning which was beautiful, spacious, comfy bed, amazing view and a wonderful shower. Breakfast was delicious. Gardens are beautiful and the pool was a delight…we swam and sunbathed and felt like we were abroad. Great short walk to the beach and amazing restaurants and views. Cannot recommend enough, we will 100% be returning. so much nicer than a big impersonal hotel - felt so relaxed. Adults only and very romantic. Can’t wait to come again, thank you!read moreread less
- Christopher20 May 2025Lovely place to stay, Hosts were superb, could not have been any better. Highly recommended. 😀 - Breakfast was very good - cooked to order with a really extensive menu. Fiona & Jon were superb hosts - couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Room was comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated - as was the rest of the building. Car parking area virtually at the back of the B & B was a bonus. 😞 - Nothing really - apart from the fairly steep hill to negotiate when walking back up to the B & B from the town centre. About 15 minute walkread moreread less
- Pamela18 May 2025Lovely quaint place 😀 - Lyme regis is a lovely place the down fall for me was not the place my knees and legs ,and I didn't look to see about the steepness of places. The B and B was lovely and owners lovely too they work very hard to accommodate people ,I will try and go back to the place and same B and B if things get better with my legs we both loved it ,and travelled different places while there . 😞 - The steepness of Streets Due to legs and knees being bad ,read moreread less
- Denise13 May 2025Revisit to Lyme Regis after 40 years, good stay, made a few new friends & the weather was brill 😀 - Breakfast was very good & excellently cooked & presented. Particularly the Granary bread! Very well organised with quick service & a smile. Very friendly couple without being in your face. Lovely views & the room was spacious. Thank you for a lovely couple of days. 😞 - As we are a bit older the hill & the route from the carpark was a bit of a challenge. However, we took our time! Carpark was a good feature as we did not have to park on the road.read moreread less
- Beverley11 May 2025A wonderful stay in a super B&B with fabulous hosts. What's not to like? 😀 - A super B&B run by a great couple. Fiona and Jon were excellent hosts. Breakfast was plentiful, expertly cooked with plenty of choice. The ingredients were of excellent quality and portion size was good. We were told to ask if we needed more toast for example but we never did as there was always a good supply. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had an en suite shower room and the bedlinen and towels were changed mid week. There was a plentiful and varied supply of teas and instant coffees as well as a pod coffee machine. We were also told we were welcome to use the snooker table, books and dvds if we wished. The hotel is at the top of a hill, 10 minutes walk in to Lyme Regis which would be difficult for those with mobility issues however the hotel has a car park (quite rare in the town) so it might be easier for some to drive down. There are also a few steps on site to get from the car park to reception but we managed perfectly fine. I would definitely stay again. 😞 - I have arthritis and struggle with hotel pillows so take my own in the UK but this isn't a bad reflection on St Andrews but on hotels generally. I don't expect a "pillow menu", that would be silly, I just take my own trusty pillow.read moreread lessRedKlover10 May 2025We enjoyed a delightful 4 day stay at this impeccable venue. Our room, Golden Cap, was large, beautifully appointed, bright and airy with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water. The view was absolutely stunning. The house is gorgeous with lovely grounds and gardens. It boasts a large swimming pool, snooker table and well stocked library. The dining area is light and comfortable and the breakfast served there is second to none. It was great to have private parking and we didn’t have a problem walking into town and back even though it was a very steep route. Fiona and John were tremendous hosts who were charming, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We can’t praise their hospitality enough.read moreread less

Very welcoming hosts nothing too much trouble . Breakfast was amazing , especially the homemade sausages. Hosts went out of their way to provide me with a fruit salad each morning that didn’t contain the fruit I’m actually allergic to. Thank you both . 😞 - For us the stairs in and around the property were a struggle but we were told to use the garden as a shortcut no problems .read moreread lessJane25 Aug 2024Lovely week in an excellent B&B-the best we have stayed in. 😀 - Everything! - Karen02 Apr 2024We spent a lovely Easter weekend in Lyme Regis. Our hosts Fiona and Jon were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ma 😀 - We stayed in the Anning room, it was a lovely spacious room with a fabulous sea view and lovely modern bathroom. It had lovely touches in the room like bottles of water, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, another lovely touch was being able to have fresh milk instead of long life milk. The property also had ample parking and was within walking distance (approx 10 mins) to the centre of Lyme Regis. We would definitely return to St Andrews House B&B if we were ever in Lyme Regis in the future, and highly recommend it. 😞 - There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.read moreread less
