Welcome to St Andrews House
Fiona and Jon aim to offer you a relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay in their recently renovated home.
St Andrews House Bed and Breakfast, opened in March 2018, offers 7 individually designed double ensuite rooms, three of which were added in Spring 2022. Reserved parking is available on site along with use of the extensive garden to sit and wander. Guests are also welcome to relax by our heated outdoor swimming pool which has been completely renovated in Spring 2022.
St Andrews House is located in an elevated position just a ten minute walk to the seafront of Lyme Regis. With much sought after parking in Lyme, it is the perfect base to explore the Jurassic coastline of West Dorset and East Devon.
- Gary06 May 2024Ideal location for seeing Lyme Regis and surrounding areas. 😀 - Fresh and filling breakfast. Plenty of choice. The room had more than you would need for a bed and breakfast. Very clean with a homely feel. Nice and friendly owners that made us feel welcome. 😞 - Noneread moreread less

- Victoria16 Apr 2024Definitely will go back again as it was a fabulous large room, great location and thoughtful owners. 😀 - It was set in a lovely location and not far from the town. - Karen02 Apr 2024We spent a lovely Easter weekend in Lyme Regis. Our hosts Fiona and Jon were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ma 😀 - We stayed in the Anning room, it was a lovely spacious room with a fabulous sea view and lovely modern bathroom. It had lovely touches in the room like bottles of water, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, another lovely touch was being able to have fresh milk instead of long life milk. The property also had ample parking and was within walking distance (approx 10 mins) to the centre of Lyme Regis. We would definitely return to St Andrews House B&B if we were ever in Lyme Regis in the future, and highly recommend it. 😞 - There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.read moreread less

Due to being too early in the year for outdoor swimming 🏊♂️ Not available til end of April time. Xxx I will definitely be going back even if it's just to try that pool out 😆 xxxread moreread less

The room was lovely and clean with fresh bottles of water and tea and coffee replaced daily and bed made. Breakfast excellent. Location was good for visiting the area with a great view of the bay. - Amy27 Sep 2023Honestly the best B&B we have stayed in, cannot recommend it more! 😀 - The property is well situated, very clean, comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. There is a dedicated parking space, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The room is beautifully presented, and it even had a book and leaflet about Mary Anning (in the Anning room) which were very interesting! 😞 - Noneread moreread lessJacob26 Sep 2023The perfect place for a short weekend getaway. 😀 - Beautiful location a short while from the beach. Fiona and Jon were brilliant hosts who have clearly spent a lot of time and effort into making this wonderful place to stay. The snooker table and communal areas were wonderful surprises. It made for a perfect anniversary. 😞 - My partner found the cold pool quite uncomfortable. But this was understandable given the cost of heating.read moreread less

- Mary20 Sep 2023Our stay here was a stopping off point for a couple of nights enroute to our home, from Cornwall. 😀 - Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. My Gluten Free diet was catered for perfectly with GF cereals and bread readily available, also served very separately from GF containing items. 😞 - Couldn't fault any of it.read moreread less
- Adrian18 Sep 2023Exceptional 😀 - Great facilities including snooker table & outside pool. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice. - Adventurer01 Nov 2022Nice stay with great views and facilities and welcoming hosts 😀 - Fantastic views over the valley and coast. There's a heated pool and snooker table that guests are welcome to use. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and gave good tips on places to visit. There was a fan which was very helpful as it was quite warm in the room. There's parking, including spaces for an electric car to charge (great to see!). Lots of storage space in the room. Great views from the breakfast room. 😞 - The walls are quite thin and able to hear people walking down the stairs past the room and hear the guests walking around and using facilities in the room above. This may well have just been our room (standard room) so don't know about other rooms but didn't feel as private - not much the owners can do but worth knowing. Breakfast needs to be booked for a limited time slot the night before - This is to allow the owners a dedicated time to plan and cook for the guests and due to the limited number of guests that can be seated at any one time but as a guest it meant that you didn't have much flexibility as its a first come first served on the time slots. Not a biggie but useful to know in advanceread moreread less
- Dason25 Oct 2022A great place to stay 😀 - A lovely house in a great location, walkable to the town and seafront and with fabulous views. Very clean, and comfortable bed, and off road parking available. Fiona and John, who run the guest house, were extremely friendly and welcoming, and laid on a delicious breakfast each morning. 😞 - Can't really say there was anything we didn't like, although the shower over the bath only had a small shower spray, would have preferred a larger shower spray.read moreread less

- John13 Oct 2022Excellent accommodation with great breakfast to set you up for the day. 😀 - Excellent 'full English' breakfast, with toast, coffeee/tea and fruit juice if required. Room with ensuite was spotless (looked recently decorated) and very comfortable and of a good size with attractive views looking out to the sea. Ample off road parking within the grounds of the house. Jon & Fiona made us feel very welcome. 😞 - Nothing not to like! Appropriately our room, with ensuite corner bath, and powerful shower. was named 'Jurassic'. The hosts were very amenable, our room was comfortable, with even a coffeemaker. Sadly, we'd no energy spare to swim in the heated pool. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, served in the conservatory overlooking the grounds; the availability of a fridge and fresh milk was a great boon. The charming hosts, Fi and John, were friendly and worked hard to make our stay special, recommending local restaurants and chatting at length.read moreread less
